Carlos E Alfonso MD FACC FSCAI is a board certified interventional and structural cardiologist, and the current general cardiology fellowship program director at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is the medical director for complex coronary interventions and CTO program at the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - UHealth Tower. HIs clinical expertise and research interests include complex coronary interventions including CTO, mechanical circulatory support, AMI and cardiogenic shock, and structural cardiology interventions including TAVR, TEER.
