Dr. Perez received his medical degree from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. He continued on to the University of Miami - Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida where he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease. He is a fellow member of the American College of Cardiology and board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology and has Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) in Nuclear Cardiology as well as National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) in Adult Echocardiography.
